With Fashion week gone.I have fallen for next seasons talented fashion designers and their spectacular collections of garments and accessories. Mary Katrantzou, presented her Spring/Summer 2013 collection at the Topshop Show Space at the London Fashion Show. The global retail sensation is known for her hyper-real digital print designs and has chosen to print her latest collection with images known to the world through banknotes and stamps. Roberto Cavalli found his latest inspiration on a recent trip to India, thus his Just Cavalli collection was full of prints of sacred elephant motifs, temples, exotic florals and, of course, plenty of animal patterns, from leopard to crocodile. Still, he stayed true to his signature, infusing a hip-hop vibe that came through in jewelry, baseball caps and silhouettes that ranged from baggy shorts to body-hugging dresses. Queen fashion bee Anna Dello Russo has created an accessory range for h&m it is of course…big, loud and completely over the top think snakes that wrap around your wrist, alligators covered in glittering stones, big stones, bright colours and lots and lots of gold its outrageous and fabulous, just like Anna.

Hello and welcome to the official first post of my blog. I’m going to start off by introducing myself. My name is Iveta Zaurinyte I’m 22 years old currently living in a small town Camberley located in Surrey. I was born in Lithuania, moved to UK in 2003 and I love it! As every normal child I went to school, when I completed that stage in my life, I found my love for Arts. I moved on to taking part in a three year course in Creative Arts at college. When that was over I wasn’t too sure that I was ready for the big, bad world of work and applied for another three year course at University of Creative Arts Farnham (UCA) studying BA (Hons) Textiles for Fashion and Interiors specialising in Print, the highlights so far of studying the course and the world of textiles are in 2011 doing a two week work placement for Mirjam Rouden in their textile design studio an experience that I wish carried on for longer, meeting new people that share the same passion for textiles and exploring further the world of textiles, and fashion. Finally I have decided to start my own blog where i can share my everyday life of textiles, fashion, shopping and other bits and bobs with the world. I’m really excited to be posting on my own blog (still feels weird to say it out loud) whenever i can and show what I’m all about.
